About Us

Liberty Air Management was founded in July 1987 by a corporate pilot in Frederick, Maryland, as a part-time business.
Initially, Liberty Air Management’s activities were limited to aircraft sales and acquisitions; however our foundation and philosophy of superior customer service caused operations to quickly grow to include Aviation Management and Executive Air Charter.
In October 1996, Liberty Air Management gained the approval of the FAA and was issued U. S. Air Carrier Certificate Number P6VA209H. Initial operations began with a single Cessna 310Q aircraft, but have since evolved to its current fleet of a new 2008 Beechcraft King Air C90GTi, and a Beechcraft King Air C90. We are authorized to conduct operations in the Continental United States and Canada.
Our staff of professional pilots train, and are checked, to the same exacting standards as major airline crews. Our FAA approved pilot training program is supplemented by annual Flight Simulator Training at SimCom Training Centers in Orlando, FL. Safety is our number one priority at Liberty Air Management and we are proud of our accident free safety record.
Liberty Air Management is a member of the National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA).
Liberty Air Management also provides specialized flight support for engineering research and development for several electronics firms developing airborne surveillance and detection equipment.
